Good evening from LA!
Had a great drive down today and the time flew by since we were chatting and laughing the whole way. Had a couple of quick bathroom bathroom breaks and then had the distinct pleasure of paying $4.87 for a gallon of gas!! Eeeek!
After a quick stop for lunch we were here at the Marriott in Fullerton by shortly after 3p.m. Not bad at all!
Don and Betty have gone out to dinner with their family who live nearby and Commodore Ed and I had a bite at the "authentic" Irish pub in the lobby!! By the way, the "Commodore" requested a promotion from "Sailor Ed" so I thought he surely deserved that! The word sort of reminds me of 'commode' so it fits him pretty well! :)
Tomorrow morning after a leisurely breakfast we will make our way to the cruise port and will probably arrive there about noon. The parking is right next to the ship so everything is very convenient. The weather should be in the 60's tomorrow and dry.
